Frequently Asked Questions

Who should join this club? +
Anyone interested in stock market investing and trading ideas can join. It's ideal for those who want to collaborate, learn from the community, share their perspectives, and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals.
What are the main club activities? +
We'll be hosting trading competitions for swing trading, sharing investment ideas, conducting educational sessions, and exchanging research. Plus, we'll have social activities to connect with fellow members
What is 3 level Investing? +
Our 3 Levels Investing strategy is a structured approach to buying stocks at three predefined price levels. It's a unique twist on dollar cost averaging (DCA), designed to help you invest smartly and manage risk.
What is risk in 3 level investing? +
Risks include capital blockage if the market trends down long-term and potential losses if position sizing is off and the stock drops substantially.
How do you pick stocks for the 3 Levels strategy? +
We recommend stocks with low debt, consistent revenue growth over 2-3 quarters, and great turnover potential. Look for entry points at significant weekly or monthly support levels based on technicals.
How much capital do I need to start? +
No capital required to join! We recommend starting with a paper or simulated account to test these strategies risk-free before investing real money
How long do swing trades typically last? +
Swing trades typically last 2 to 6 weeks, but may close sooner if targets are hit quickly or stop-loss levels are triggered.
How do I manage risk in swing trading? +
We manage risk through strict position sizing, deploying 5% or less of capital per trade, with stop-losses (SL) capped at 1% of capital. We also trail SLs quickly to breakeven (entry price) once trades move into profit, minimizing potential losses.
What will happen to my swing trade positions in a sudden market crash? +
We mitigate potential losses in a market crash through a long/short position rule, requiring at least 30% of our swing portfolio to be in contra positions. For example, if we have 10 long positions, we'd have at least 3 short positions. This way, if the market crashes, losses in long positions can be offset by gains in short positions.
Should I use leverage in swing trading? +
We don't use leverage in swing trading. Instead, we prioritize position sizing to cap risk at 1% or less per trade. Leverage can amplify losses as well as gains, and it's a common pitfall for many traders.
Can I swing trade while having a full-time job? +
Yes, swing trading can work with a full-time job. With our method, you'd take 2-3 trades a week, maintain around 20 positions, and automate stop-losses and targets for easier management.
What are the risks of swing trading? +
With our swing trade approach, risks are mitigated through position sizing and balancing long/short positions to minimize drawdowns. However, potential gaps in price can still impact trades.
Do you do any educational sessions? +
Yes, education is our main goal. We regularly host sessions on investing and trading concepts and live streams where we answer questions to the best of our knowledge, helping members learn and grow together.
How much capital do I need to start swing trading? +
There's no minimum capital required to get started. We recommend beginning by observing, learning, and understanding our approach before starting trading. Familiarize yourself with strategy and first start with a simulated account or paper trading until you're fully convinced.
What are trading competitions? +
Our trading competitions let users share trade ideas and compete to earn rewards based on performance. By participating, users can showcase their skills and potentially earn on the platform.
How often will I receive updates? +
You'll receive regular updates with 5-10 new swing trade ideas every week, depending on user activity on the platform.
